SeaNergy Product Description
SeaNERGY is an environmentally friendly energy cell that generates electrical energy from seawater, suitable for replacing batteries and galvanic cells in marine and underwater applications. One of the most pressing environmental concerns today is energy production and the avoidance of polluting waste. SeaNERGY was developed in line with this directive, and comprehensive testing has demonstrated that none of its components harm the environment. Its biodegradable elements ensure minimal environmental impact, even in the event of unforeseen circumstances or loss at sea.
Additionally, SeaNERGY can be stored indefinitely without maintenance as long as it does not come into contact with seawater. These qualities make SeaNERGY ideal for replacing batteries and galvanic cells in marine and underwater environments. However, it's essential to note that SeaNERGY's guaranteed operating time is 30 hours. If longer-term energy supply is needed, larger electrode sizes are required for manufacturing SeaNERGY units accordingly.
SeaNERGY energy cells find valuable applications in the aviation and maritime industries, such as providing power to standard life vests and black boxes containing energy-dependent signaling devices for water immersion situations. The energy cell ensures automatic power supply as soon as these devices come into contact with water, eliminating the need for maintenance compared to galvanic cells. The standard-sized SeaNERGY energy cell has the following specifications:
Nominal Voltage: | 3 V |
Continuous Load Capacity: | 20 mA |
Maximum Load Capacity: | 60mA |
Minimum Operating Time: | 30 óra |
Capacity: | 600 mAh |
1.8Wh | |
Weight: | 100g |
Dimensions: | 75x75x20 mm |
Operating Temperature: | -20°C ~ +55 °C |
Storage Temperature: | -5°C ~ +25 °C |
Manufacturing SeaNERGY with different specifications is not a problem,
but prior coordination is necessary.
Using SeaNERGY involves the following steps:
- Connect the SeaNERGY energy cell to the consumer, ensuring proper polarity.
- Secure the SeaNERGY energy cell as needed for the application.
- When the SeaNERGY energy cell comes into contact with saltwater, energy production begins. The entire cell must be immersed for proper operation.
- Once the energy cell is depleted, remove and dispose of it as regular waste due to its environmentally friendly composition.
It's crucial to store SeaNERGY in a location where it won't be exposed to saltwater. It is essential to store it in a dry place to ensure the preservation of its quality.
SeaNERGY is recommended for use in our developed split-structure active life vests that operate with saltwater, immediately emitting the appropriate light and radio signals when the wearer enters saltwater. Additionally, it is suitable for general-purpose, saltwater-operated marine sensor cases, where SeaNERGY supplies energy to the necessary measurement devices in the marine environment.
